Competition – Seniors

Mellor Park Tennis Club where the competition is fierce, but the Members are relaxed and friendly !

With competition tennis available in both Summer and Winter, you will find a level of tennis best suited to your needs.

Mellor Park has had many successful premiership teams, so if your new to the area, looking for a change or dusting off the racquet cobwebs you have come to the right place !

What will the club have on offer in 2014/2015?

Play in the Western Districts Tennis Competition or the Glenelg Districts Tennis Competition.  Matches are played on Saturday afternoons commencing 11^th October.

Western Districts:

Competition will be men and ladies only in all grades except Division 1 which is combined with Adelaide Metro Lawn.

Division 1

Teams consist of 4 to 5 men or 4 – 5 women playing both singles and doubles (best of 3 sets for both with 3^rd set super tie break).  Start time is 1pm.

Division 2 and below

Teams consist of 4 to 5 men or 4-5 women playing both singles and doubles.  Start times will be either 12.30pm or 3.30 pm

Glenelg Districts:

Doubles Competition

Teams consist of 4 to 5 men and 4 to 5 women playing doubles and mixed doubles.  Start time is 1pm.
